Banana caramel
I love a good caramel sauce, for both cakes, desserts, waffles and much more.
This recipe is one of the easiest to make, and then it can stay fine in the fridge for up to 4 days, so you do not have to use it all at once.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I think I'll spice up our oatmeal with a little bit of banana caramel sauce and apple cubes. I have not tried it before, but I think it will be a hit.
Ingredients:
50 g butter
50 g brown sugar
0.5 dl cream
3 mashed bananas
Course of action:
Melt butter and brown sugar, over medium heat. It is important it does not come up and boil.
Add the cream a little at a time and stir well in the meantime.
finally add the 3 mashed bananas and cook the caramel for 6-8 minutes.
Pour the caramel into a clean glass and store it in the fridge until needed.
